I wrote in a while ago about how to do a search,,well a search i did and found my birthfamily. Its been a whirlwind of emotions. spoke with biofather,,waiting on biomother. longgg story, but now that i found them…this is for the firsmoms out there..what do you think they will expect from me?

i believe that a mother is a mother for life. the maternal instinct you have as a mother is forever. the love you have for your child is forever. as a birthmom, i can tell you that your birthmom loves you so much that just knowing you are well is enough. a mother’s love is forever. she just wants to love you and know that you accept her for who she is.
it is important for you to understand that giving up a child, especially a newborn is extremely difficult. it’s heart-wrenching, it feels like your heart is ripped apart and it does break your heart into little pieces. the bond a mother develops with the baby in the womb is eternal. it takes even more courage and strength to give up your own flesh and blood, ultimately it’s the love for the well-being of your child that allowed moms to let go of their child. it’s sacrificial and unselfish and the hardest thing anyone could ever do.
so don’t worry so much about what she expects of you, just know she’ll be glad to connect with you again. blessings!

thankx for the reply..we have met..it was bizzare. We look soo much alike..Shes a selfless woman and the reason for my placement was justified. We now talk and text and im waiting to meet my brother. i just never wanted to be a burden on her, she says shes thrilled i found her,,she did attempt 4 times throught the years. were taking it slow.
