Hello World. My name is Karen, or Spidey, or Mommy depending on the person or venue. Very few people call me by my Mrs.Evil name (yes, all my daughter’s friends call me Karen).
I’ve been writing about lots of things, including politics, parenting and adoption (not so much about adoption anymore – I think I’ll save that for another post) at another blog for quite some time now. Well, okay, at various sites for 6 years so far. My husband, Evil Dad, and I have been adoptive parents involved in a mostly open adoption with our child’s mother’s family for the past 7+ years. (Her father’s family, for their own reasons, has chosen to keep their side of the adoption mostly closed at this time). I’ll describe what I mean by mostly open on another post.
That’s about it for today. It’s a beautiful sunny Sunday morning here, and I need to get outside. Hope it’s beautiful where you are too.
