You Never “Get Over It”

Hi there!  It’s me, Lauren!  A few of you may remember me from my old blog, which was also titled “You Never Get Over It”.  That blog is long since dead, but I decided that I still liked the premise of the title, so I thought I’d start again here. 

I am a 25 year old single mom to two fantastic kids-my firstborn was lost to the adoption machine and I am currently parenting my daughter.  My son, C, is 6.  My daughter, A, is 5.

I have been doing alot of wallowing in adoption kool-aid lately.  Putting it on the back burner, ignoring it, shoving it out of my every day consciousness–whatever you want to call it.   It’s been working for now.  I am ready to start getting my feet wet in the adoption pool again; perhaps this time with a smaller blogroll to read every day and with less alcoholism to help fuel my depression.

Anyway, welcome to my “new” blog!  Glad you came!  I am determined not to fall into the vat of kool-aid again.  I think this will help.
